He was a pastor of the Church of Brethren Church in Girard, where he served almost seven years, and was chaplain of the Pleasant Hill Nursing Home in Girard. He has been terminated from both positions, officials said Thursday.

The indictment alleges that Shockey was seen viewing child pornography on a computer by a staff member of the nursing home. Images of nude young girls were found under a computer user account titled "Howard S,". Shockey has admitted viewing child pornography.

ReplyDeleteHow people could not have known is amazing to me, because I KNEW it the moment I met him. And everyone should have questioned that he was even a pastor at all, since he stunk, hardly ever bathed, refused to change his hygiene although directed to by his immediate boss, and hovered with the most morbid glee over the dieing residents at the nursing home, and other employees said they felt as tho he undressed them with his eyes. If you had a pastor that literally stunk and you could SEE he was not clean and wore the same clothes many days in a row, wouldn't YOU question him? YOU SHOULD HAVE. I know I DID.
ReplyDeleteOH, and by the way.....two women stepped forward and said he molested them when they were 4 or 5 years old. He was found guilty. He did confess to all. And he got 8 years.
