Pastor Arrested For Assault

Oklahoma: Tulsa pastor Bob Kendrick is accused of assaulting a Tulsa Public Schools campus police officer.

Kendrick, who preaches at Greater Union Baptist Church, faces felony charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. TPS officials say Kendrick become upset with gate security Thursday while attending the Central V. Edison High football game.

Witnesses say Kendrick hit a TPS security officer over the head, with a metal stadium chair.

A TPS spokesperson says the district will now ban Kendrick and those who were with him from TPS property for the next six months.
